PARIS 1723 - 1724 A pair of square-based silver torches and eight cut sections, the foot is carved with a floral motif framed by fire pots on either side and alternating with quartet leaf motifs under a bordure of gadroons abducted on the barrel knot. The bowl is engraved with a posterior alliance coat of arms. The umbilicus is carved in the repelled of a decoration of scraps of fleurons finished by ponpons framed by windings. The eight-sided baluster barrel is decorated on four sides with antique profiles surmounting a decoration on an amati background. The base of the candle is applied with lanceolate leaves of different sizes.
