In-4°, black head morocco, large polychrome mosaic and personalized decoration decorating the first course. including title, spine ribbed, gold slices on witnesses, dark green lining and moire guards, doubles guards, preserved cover, half-marocco shirt with small overlaps and case (Charles Lanoë del. r. d.). 41 etchings by Charles JOUAS. Edition of 135 copies, this one (No. 84), named after Mr. Charles Jouas, containing, unjustified, an additional suite of twenty plates, some in several states or unpublished, all signed in lead pencil. ENRICHED EXAMPLE of TEN-SEVEN DRAWINGS in SIGNED COLORS of JOUAS, some of which were used for illustration and of an engraved portrait of the artist by Henri Royer in mind. Enclosed, bound in fine binding: the illustrated menu of the dinner of January 10, 1939. Back of the shirt faded and cracked.
