18th century JETONS (set of 2) : - A silver token ARTILLERIE LOUIS CHARLES DE BOURBON 1737. (Louis Charles de Bourbon, Count of Eu, Duke of Aumale (1736), Prince of Dombes (1755-1762), Duke of Gisors (1762), Count of Dreux, Prince of Anet, Baron de Sceaux was born at the Château de Sceaux on October 15, 1701 and died at the same place on July 13, 1775. Son of the Duke of Maine, legitimate bastard of Louis XIV and his wife Anne-Louise Bénédicte de Bourbon-Condé, he remained unmarried and had no children. He was Grand Master of the Artillery of France from the death of his father (1736) to 1755). - A silver token TRESOR ROYAL 1735. Obverse: LUD. XV. REX - CHRISTIANISS (Louis XV, very Christian king), bust on the right of Louis XV, signed DU VIVIER. Reverse: NON SPOLIANT HYEMES (Winters do not strip it), TRESOR ROYAL 1735, an orange tree in a box.
