CHAMBERY BEFORE 1750 Bowl covered in silver, the rim moulded with gadroons, the ears with symmetrical decoration melted and carved on an amati background of a central rosette framing a wrapped garland. The lid lined with gadroons is carved in repoussé on an amati background of rosettes, shells, fleurons and foliage. The central button is adorned with a woman's profile with wrapped hair.
