PARIS 1778 - 1779 Pair of sugar shafts and their silver frames, twisted ribbed model, resting on a four-leafed quadripod base with abseiling windings on the frames, the fretel featuring two strawberries; the sugar shafts are enhanced by an oval topped with a knot of ribbons from the Louis XVI period such as the garland chasing of leaves on the marlis. Condition: old restorations on the cover at the level of the fretel's attachment that do not allow the punches on one of the covers to be read.
