Plain silver baluster-shaped shell resting on a small boat. The duck pouring spout protrudes from the body. Hinged lid with button grip, decorated with a volute-shaped thumb rest piece and threads. Later engraved with coats of arms stamped with a marquis' crown. Dark rosewood handle (restorations and drilled at the base).
