FABERGÉ FABERGÉ Cup known as "Bratina" out of silver 88 zolotniks (916 thousandths) of traditional form with decoration pushed back of godrons in spirals, partly enamelled polychrome cloisonné with decoration of flowers and foliages stylized on bottom amati, resting on four feet balls. Good condition, some accidents to the enamel. Moscow, 1899-1908 - Goldsmith's mark : Carl FABERGÉ - Engraved inventory number : 19314. Height: 14.5 - Diameter: 18.5 cm - Gross weight: 660 g Preserved in its original wooden case, inside beige silk velvet stamped by the House of Fabergé. Provenance: Mr. Alexandre ANDRÉ (1845-1918), former director at Standard Oil (ESSO). He made many trips to Russia for oil drilling and probably received this object as a gift during a visit at the end of his career.
