Madame CORCHAND (circa 1813-1816) Miniature representing the portrait of a woman in bust with the red dress. Signed in the lower right corner Mrs. Corchand and dated August 1813. Inscribed on the back on a blue silk fabric "This portrait is that of my mother". In a 18 k (750 thousandths) yellow gold frame. 5.8 x 4.5 cm - Gross weight : 30 g Mrs CORCHAND (active street Charlot in Paris in 1813-1816). Woman artist, painter in miniature. She exhibited at the Royal Museum of Arts on November 1, 1814, and is currently represented at the Antoine Lecuyer Museum in St-Quentin. Provenance : castle of la Maroutière
