Antique disguise: flower bud - Circa 1920 The set is made of silver threads and peach colored crepe paper. It consists of a sleeveless charleston dress with a V-neckline. The model has a skirted bottom on a base of white tulle on which is applied strips in rows of cut crepe paper forming petals like a dahlia flower. The bottom of each band is faded to a darker shade. The bottom is flared with a length above the knees. The dress is lined at the top with old rose cotton cheesecloth. The model comes with a matching hat. The form is toque and covered with crepe with the top of the green crepe shaped into a stem simulating the base of the flower. The interior is lined with ivory satin gathered at the top with the same technique as a city hat. -Dimensions: -Dress: Waist flat: 42 cm Shoulder to shoulder: 36 cm Chest (armpit to armpit): 45 cm Height in the middle of the back: 91 cm -Hat: Head circumference: 53 cm Nice freshness. The lamé is a little oxidized at the level of the armpits. The crepe is crumpled with some alterations on the low front.
