Set of 2 Charleston headbands - circa 1920 1- Large headband made of a thick black fishnet lined with a thinner tulle on the front. The latter is entirely embroidered with black glass beads with a wider edge on the front like a tiara. The top of the headband has an embroidered band of pearls to enclose the top of the skull. The two sides are decorated with 2 large pearl tassels and 3 rows of blown glass beads cascading down the chest like a necklace. Head size: 56 cm Rare broken beads in the three rows. Rare missing beads in the embroidery. Odor of dust. 2- Light headband made of a wide band of black tulle embroidered with small black sequins. The left side is decorated with a bow shaped in tulle. The interior has a white seam marking the front. Head size: 58 cm Small tears in the bow in tulle. Odor of dust. Provenance: Trunks and attics of the Chateau de la Maroutière
