Lot including two suits attributed to the RAPHAËL house. Beginning of the XXth century. Both models are made of lace and fabric veil with a linen touch. The form is straps with a buttoning in the back. The waist is high and flares out slightly. Length to mid-calf. The neckline is slid with a powder pink silk satin ribbon. The assembly is dense with lace between two and stitches of embroidery anglaise (for the left). The linen parts are treated in flat pleats at the level of the bodice and at the bottom. The two bottom of the dress are worked and end with a lace flounce. The two models are identical in shape but with different patterns and lace cuts. On the left: Waist flat: 37 cm The silk ribbon is tapered. The dress has several small stains and small holes on the front. Another one near the buttonhole. An old restoration on the bottom. Some damage to the lace on one side in particular. One strap is partly untied. Dusty smell. Right: The silk ribbon has a few moth holes. Several brown spots on the front.
