Next up is an object of royal provenance, with a rare aumônière bearing the coat of arms of Princess Elisabeth of France, and a lock of hair belonging to Princess Marie-Thérèse of France, Madame Royale, Duchesse d'Angoulême. Among the paintings on offer, a major Gustave Doré work, a view of the Pyrenees, explored by the artist early in his career and exhibited in Montpellier at the Exposition des Beaux-Arts in 1860.
