Collection of erotic drawings from the Romantic period, comprising 124 compositions. In-folio (42.5 x 28.5 cm). Album of 150 sheets of blue, gray and ochre multicolored laid paper, the first 91 of which show 124 original free compositions, mainly watercolors or pen-and-ink drawings and a few oils on canvas; of very variable formats, some signed, others with a later attribution. Contemporary cathedral binding. Red morocco, boards decorated with a large central gilt plate framed by a frieze of mosaic crosses in tan and brown morocco with alternating diamond-shaped morocco fleurons at the corners set in gilt fillets; boards inscribed "ANNO" "M DCCCXXX" in gilt capitals framed by a fillet, cold frieze and gilt fillet on the outer edge, inner lace, romantic four-rib spine, scrolls at the ends of the edges, gilt title and edges. Bordered slipcase.
