[COPPER] - The Escarpolette and the Pulley. [Circa 1780]. Two copperplates (7 x 8.5 cm) engraved with etching and burin, each captioned and depicting couples indulging in the pleasures of the flesh. In an olive morocco book-shaped box, boards decorated with rich framed lace composed of varied gilt irons (flowers, fleurs-de-lis, foliage and wreaths), ribbed spine decorated with floral irons, red morocco title-piece, wear, spine unstained. 20.4 x 11.5 cm From the Gérard Nordmann library, with bookplate (n°151).
