Pendant Low grade 9 k (375 thousandths) gold, colored stones or glass paste Spain or Maghreb, 18th century or earlier Gross weight: 24.8 g - Length: 8 cm - Height: 6 cm More compact in shape than late Maghrebian pendants, this piece of jewelry features motifs that were popular in medieval Spain and the Maghreb. The decoration features filigree fleurons, foliage and trefoil motifs, as well as friezes of braided gold around the central medallion and the upper part. The central medallion is adorned with alternating colored pearls and raised bosses.
