COLLECTION OF ITEMS
Items can be collected by APPOINTMENT at 16 Rue la Bruyère, 75009 Paris from the afternoon of the day after the sale, on presentation of a paid slip. Monday to Saturday, 11am to 6.30pm. Lots may be collected free of charge for 2 weeks. Then 10 euros per item per week.

For this summer edition, L'Huillier offers you:
-A very interesting collection of antique fabrics on several themes: A number of 18th and 19th century textile archives, including a complete lampas by Tassinari & Chatel ( lot 22). A collection of cashmere shawls, all different and emblematic of 19th-century French, Indian and English production, including an unusual pivot shawl(lot 30). A suite of 3 18th- and 19th-century bedspreads, including this very rare plate-printed model featuring a gardener and a birder ( lot 42). An extremely rare example of a Delhi embroidered scarf from the early 19th century ( Lot 25).
Old-fashion and haute couture, with various garments from the turn of the 20th century. Of particular note is this circa 1912 city ensemble by Maison Rochat, rare as it is complete and new, coming in its wooden box ( lot 56). Also an important document from the house of Paul Poiret with this Andalouse model coat(Lot 68). A favorite is a window bust attributed to René Herbst, whose modernism gives it the attributes of a sculpture ( lot 72). Finally, let's not forget a few haute couture pieces, such as a delightful winter ensemble by Lanvin Castillo, comprising a suit and coat, the line of which can be compared to the Pantagruel model from winter 1956 ( lot 76).
-The big names of luxury are grouped by brand, with a few classic Hermès shirts, several documented Saint Laurent Rive Gauche outfits from the 1980s, including these two skirt and blouse sets from 1982 and 1983 ( lots 157 and 158). Chanel is featured on the cover of the catalog with an evening gown from autumn winter 1987-1988 by Karl Lagerfeld(lot 182). There are also several pieces from the following collection, including an orange tweed jacket presented at the show by Inès de La Fressange for the Spring-Summer 1988 collection(Lot 185). Other labels include Thierry Mugler, Courrèges, Sonia Rykiel, Jean Paul Gaultier and Michel Klein's iconic Man Ray sheath dress ( Lot 235).
-Luxury accessories are not to be outdone, with a fine collection of Hermès squares from various periods, as well as a number of Christian Dior tableware items, including a series of Palladio dessert plates ( lot 98) and a Cocarde serving dish by Hermès(lot 211). Jewelry includes an Yves Saint Laurent silver 925 set from the Love collection ( from lot 162) and a Chanel cuff bracelet made iconic by the 1991 campaign with Linda Evangelista ( lot 172). The women's wardrobe concludes with an original fashion drawing by Gérard Pipart from the Art-Mode sale by Galerie Odermatt in October 1983 ( lot 280).
-As with every edition, we end the sale with the men's dressing room, featuring a number of pieces from the turn of the millennium by Francesco Smalto, including this amusing smiley jacket from autumn-winter 2001 ( lot 298). There was also a fine series of leather jackets, including a perfecto by Gianni Versace circa 1993 ( lot 293). Note the Gucci monogram jacket, available in black ( lot 328 ) and brown ( lot 326).
-A number of luxury accessories round off the sale. Several series of Hermès or Chavret ties ( lot 337), Hermès belts and other archival models by Claude Montana ( from lot 308). Finally, as usual, we end with shoes, including these splendid John Lobb moccasins in black crocodile ( lot 342). What better way to start the summer than with sandals? The lucky size 7 will be able to choose from among the five Louis Vuitton models that will close this sale. With a Christian Dior beach towel ( lots 220 and 221) and iconic Persol sunglasses ( lot 290), you'll be all set for your beach vacation.
