Possibly by GIVENCHY - Haute couture show circa 1980 - The little black dress. In velvet with an appliqué design of two black satin ribbons, one of which is embroidered with sequins. The two bands start at the shoulders, twist towards the bosom and end in bows at the hips. The dress is a sheath with long, sticky sleeves and zippered cuffs. Black silk lining. No label. Fashion show model with trace of a white cord in the armpit (which must have held a missing seal). Bolduc label at bottom: 91 / GLORIA / 07 -Dimensions : Breadth (shoulder to shoulder): 42 cm Chest (armpit to armpit): 47 cm Waist flat: 38 cm Sleeve length: 66 cm Height to middle of back: 97 cm Good overall condition. Slight shiny effects of velvet hair at elbow folds and armpits. 2 stitches to be redone at sleeve zipper seam.
