Miguel Anibal is a painter, fresco artist and engraver born in 1935 in Chile.
He lived in Mexico between 1960 and 1972, where he exhibited in numerous galleries.
With the arrival of Pinochet in power in 1973, he left South America for Europe, where he participated in various exhibitions, both personal and in groups.
Laura Allende, widow of the Chilean president who was in power during the coup, asked the artist to send her two large paintings he had made, inspired by his rejection of the Pinochet dictatorship. They are now in the Salvador Allende Foundation Museum in Santiago, Chile.
