CHAMBERY BEFORE 1750 Covered silver bowl, the border molded with gadroons, the ears with symmetrical decoration melted and chiselled on a amati background of a central rosette framing a ribboned garland. The gadrooned lid is carved in repoussé on an amati background of rosettes, shells, fleurons and foliage. The central button is decorated with a profile of a woman with ribboned hair.
