Pair of corner tables decorated with a marquetry of flowers, uprights with trompe l'oeil flutes. Stamped Przirembel, received master in 1766 (cracks and accidents to the veneer) Louis XVI period 91,5 x 58 x 35 cm Garnished with gilded bronzes, white marble top. Godefroy Prziembel, a native of Pitschen in Silesia, was received as a master cabinetmaker in 1766, and three years later married the daughter of a clockmaker in the chapel of the Swedish Embassy. They settled in rue des Canettes, near the Place Saint-Sulpice, Prziembel, known in the trade under his first name of Godefroy.
